Rapidly growing Freddy’s plans to open 27 more restaurants in 2012

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has signed franchise territory agreements in 12 states to open 2012, company officials said.

The agreements have been signed in California, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wyoming.

The Wichita-based restaurant chain has 61 stores operating today, with 27 more scheduled to launch this year — the fastest growth rate in the chain’s first decade.
