Kansas Heart Hospital said today that its long-time chief operating officer, Lynn Jeane, will retire Jan. 2.
"Lynn has provided a steady hand, outstanding leadership and personal dedication to our organization since 1998," said Greg Duick, president, chairman and co-founder of the hospital, in a news release.
Joyce Heismeyer, CEO of Allen County Hospital in Iola, will assume Jeane's duties beginning Oct. 3.
KHH said Heismeyer is a nurse with more than 20 years of experience as a hospital executive.
