The former chairman and CEO of Hawker Beechcraft has been named a director of a Winfield-based aerospace supplier.
Galaxy Tool Holding Corp. and Galaxy Tool Corp. officials said Jim Schuster has joined the boards of directors of both companies.
Schuster retired as Hawker Beechcraft's top executive in 2009. He led the company through its 2007 sale by Raytheon Co. to a Goldman Sachs subsidiary and Canadian investment firm Onex Corp..
Galaxy Tool's major customers include Boeing, Spirit AeroSystems, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Rubbermaid and Coleman.
