Invista invests more than $100 million in Brazilian textile plant

Invista is investing more than $100 million in a new Lycra fiber production plant in Brazil.

The country is growing rapidly and the investment is a reflection of that growth, according to David Trerotola, president of Invista Apparel.

"Brazil's textile market is very integrated, with textile mills, garment and fashion brands with high penetration in the country and the world," he said, in a statement.

Invista is a unit of Wichita-based Koch Industries.
