The 11th annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition wrapped up its three-day show in Geneva, Switzerland, last week with its second-highest attendance on record and with record exhibitors.
The numbers are good news for the show and a welcome reminder of the value the industry places on it, European Business Aviation Association president and CEO Brian Humphries said in a statement.
“We also know that EBACE is a barometer for the industry, and so we take these numbers as a welcome sign that the economic environment for business aviation is beginning to improve,” Humphries said.
The show attracted 12,751 attendees from 108 countries, its second-highest attendance, organizers report.
It had a record 511 exhibitors, including exhibits from Wichita’s general aviation manufacturers. That’s up from a previous high of 445 companies.
