The holding company of Capitol Federal Savings saw a slight bump in earnings in the quarter ended March 31.
Topeka-based Capitol Federal Financial said net income for the savings bank company was $15.6 million, compared with $14.7 million in the same quarter a year ago.
The company said the earnings increase was largely due to a decrease in its provision for credit losses.
