Fuller, a hard red winter wheat variety, remains the most popular variety of wheat in south central Kansas, according to the US Department of Agriculture.
Fuller was planted in 15.4 percent of the acres, Art in 12.1 percent, Overley in 7.2 percent, PostRock in 6 percent and Santa Fe in 5.7 percent.
Across the state, TAM 111 became the most popular variety, replacing Fuller.
