Hawker Beechcraft Corp. is seeking to lower its costs of producing technical publications by contracting with a Boeing-owned firm.
CDG, a Boeing company, said Tuesday it was awarded a multi-year contract to provide technical publications for Hawker Beechcraft's general aviation fleet.
CDG will use its operations in Chennai, India, to perform the work.
The value of the contract was not disclosed.
"CDG continues to be an excellent partner to HBC," said Terry Clark, HBC's manager of commercial maintenance publications, in a news release. "Work is always performed to agreed time scales, and is of good quality resulting in few subsequent complaints from the field."
