DeBruce Grain has purchased three facilities adjacent to its Wichita elevator that will provide an additional storage capacity of 7.25 million bushels, the Kansas City, Mo.-based company announced.
Work to connect the new space to the existing elevator is expected to be completed by the end of August, DeBruce CEO Paul DeBruce said.
The expansion will give DeBruce a total Wichita storage capacity of nearly 30 million bushels. The company has a North America storage capacity of 140 million bushels.
