GameStop president to keynote WSU lecture

WICHITA — The president of digital game retailer GameStop Corp. will be the featured speaker at Wichita State's James P. Schwartz Memorial Lecture Series at Wichita State in November.

Tony Bartel, who graduated from WSU with an accounting degree in 1986, was named president of GameStop in June. A Hesston native, Bartel joined the company in 2005.

Bartel's speech will be from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 at the Hyatt Regency Wichita. The cost is $50 per person.
