Stock Market Challenge to benefit Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement of Wichita's 4th annual Stock Market Challenge will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 7 at Wichita State University's Charles Koch Arena.

The event has teams competing to build the highest gross and highest net portfolio. Four-person teams may enter for $1,500. Spectator tickets are $75 per person. More information and tickets are available at http://wichita.kansasja.org or by calling 316-267-2248.

Proceeds from the event benefit Junior Achievement of Wichita's program to educate students about business, economics and free enterprise. The same day, 300 high school students will compete in a similar event, with members of the winning team receiving scholarships to WSU.
