Peterson gets broader role at Via Christi

Randy Peterson has been appointed senior vice president of Via Christi Health, responsible for oversight of all of Via Christi's hospitals, including those in Wichita.

The appointment was announced today by Kevin Conlin, president and CEO of Via Christi Health.

Since September 2006, Peterson has served as senior vice president of regional operations and has overseen the operations of Via Christi's hospitals in Pittsburg, Manhattan and Wamego.

In the new role, Peterson will appoint a president at each acute care hospital in Wichita as well as one to oversee Via Christi Rehabilitation Hospital and Via Christi Behavioral Health.
