Fred Hochberg, chairman of Ex-Im Bank, the U.S. government's official export credit agency, will speak Aug. 12 at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita.
Hochberg will talk about the importance of competing in today's global marketplace and the role of export financing in helping businesses create jobs through exports. His appearance is in partnership with the Kansas World Trade Center.
The presentation begins at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 12 with registration. Lunch is at noon, followed by opening remarks by Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer at 12:30 p.m. Cost of the event is $40.
