Cap Fed plans holding company reorganization

Capital Federal Financial, the holding company of Capitol Federal Savings Bank, said today it plans to reorganize from a two-tier mutual holding company to a full-stock holding company and offer additional shares of common stock.

John Dicus, president and CEO of Capitol Federal Financial, said in a news release that the move is in response to "the progress of proposed banking reform legislation and the potential impact on Capitol Federal Financial."
