Medical school prof wins KU award

Garold Minns, associate dean for academic and student affairs and professor of internal medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, is this year's recipient of the KU School of Medicine Rainbow Award.

The award goes to a faculty member who exemplifies the attributes of professionalism in medicine and shares those qualities with the medical students he or she mentors. The recipient is chosen by medical students from the Wichita and Kansas City campuses of the medical school.
