Southeast Wheat Tour is May 20

Kansas State University's Southeast Agricultural Research Center will have a Wheat Tour at its Parsons field May 20. The field is just south of U.S. 400 on Ness Road (North 32nd Street).

A tour of wheat variety plots will be part of the program, which begins with registration at 7:30 a.m. Other presentations include the importance of phosphorus and potassium for crop production; long-term tillage and nitrogen management for corn, wheat and double-crop soybean; and soybean cyst nematode diversity.
