The Kansas Department of Labor has created an online video tutorial to help people fill out their applications for unemployment benefits.
The department said the tutorial walks applicants through the online form and answers frequently asked questions about the application, such as how to search for past employers in the agency's database and how to calculate gross wages.
"We hope this tutorial takes some of the anxiety out of filing online," Labor Secretary Jim Garner said in a release. "It helps when you can listen to a real person walking you through the steps."
The video is on the department's home page, www.getkansasbenefits.com.
