Collection agency to expand, hire 1,200 workers in Kansas

A Denver-based collection agency is expanding in Overland Park and plans to hire 1,200 employees over the next five years.

Regent Asset Management Solutions has leased 15,000 square-feet in the Rosana Square development at 7720 W. 119th St. and plans to hire 400 employees within the first year, company and Overland Park officials said today.

The firm opened a small call center operation with 50 employees at 8665 W. 96th St. in Overland Park 18 months ago. It will retain that facility while expanding into the new facility in space formerly occupied by the Internal Revenue Service.

Regent Asset Management serves a variety of industries including financial services, health care, banking, retail, education, communications, utilities, transportation, commercial, government and home owner associations.

Besides its Overland Park call center and Denver headquarters, the firm has operations in Las Vegas, Phoenix and Texas.
