Manufacturing in the Kansas City Federal Reserve District continued to increase in February, the district reported today.
Production increased and producers' expectations for future activity, including for hiring, were positive.
Prices for raw materials rose, while the cost for finished goods generally was flat. However, more manufacturers said they expected to be able to raise prices in the future.
The Kansas City Federal Reserve District includes Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Wyoming, northern New Mexico and western Missouri.
