The Dillons store at 1910 W. 21st St. will begin a week of grand reopening activities at 7 a.m. Sunday.
The remodeled store better reflects the diverse blend of cultures in the neighborhood, said company spokeswoman Sheila Lowrie.
The festivities begin with giveaways, specials, product sampling and activities for the family. There will be free gift cards, product samples, chile roasting in the parking lot, kids activities, and a ribbon cutting with the Wichita Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Also on Sunday, the store pharmacy will begin accepting appointments for free health screenings to evaluate cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes and body mass index. Events continue all next week with free daily giveaways.
