Charity

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation has recently awarded more than $53,000 in Healthy Habits for Life grants to 57 school nurses and program administrators across its service area. Five area schools that received grants are Mulvane Grade School, $1,000; Maize Middle School, $1,000; Greiffenstein Special Education Center in Wichita, $1,000; Tri-City Day School in Haysville, $1,000; and Cheney Elementary School, $912.
