Kansas producers may begin signing up Monday for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Supplemental Revenue Assistance Payments program.
The program, also known as the SURE program, provides crop disaster assistance payments to eligible farmers who have sustained production or quality losses.
For information and to apply, producers should contact their local Farm Service Agency county office or go to fsa.usda.gov and click on disaster assistance programs.
