Cessna Aircraft issued 60-day layoff notices to 60 workers today, according to the Kansas Department of Commerce.
The job cuts are part of a plan announced in June to reduce employment by 1,300 people because of reduced demand, said spokeswoman Angela Baldwin.
On June 19, Cessna issued notices to 850 people. On Aug. 14, it issued notices to 57 employees, according to the state.
Since November, Cessna announced layoffs of more than 8,200 employees.
