Koch's Unifin International sold for $93 million

Koch Chemical Technology Group has sold its Unifin International unit to Wabtec Corp. for $93 million.

Unifin designs and manufactures a variety of cooling systems and related components, including oil coolers and pumps. It has annual sales of about $45 million, according to Wabtec.

Unifin has about 100 employees at three facilities, two in the United States and one in Canada. The U.S. locations are Salem, Ohio, and Chesapeake, Va.

Koch Chemical Technology is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wichita-based Koch Industries.

Wabtec, which has its headquarters in Wilmerding, Pa., is a provider of technology-based products and services primarily for the rail and transit industry.
