Wichita will wake up to a fresh layer of snow on Monday, but it won’t be anything approaching last week’s thick blanket.
Forecasters say an inch or two of snow is likely, with light snow continuing through Monday morning. Highs will only be in the upper teens, with north winds helping push the wind chill to as low as minus 5.
Cloudy skies will linger into the overnight hours tonight, forecasters say, when the low will dip to just above 0 and wind chills will drop below minus 10.
Tuesday will be sunny and warmer, with highs in the upper 20s. But wind chills will still fall to the negative double digits early, courtesy of light north winds, forecasters say. Those winds will ease later in the day, however. Lows will be in the teens.
