Police: Man in hospital with skull fracture after Old Town fight

A fight in the 800 block of East Second Street in Old Town at 12:30 a.m. Saturday put a man in the hospital with a skull fracture.

Police said a 6-6, 275-pound, 42-year-old man fought a younger man, punching him and putting him in a choke hold.

Officers arrested the 42-year-old man and took the younger man to a hospital, where he was found to have a skull fracture and bleeding on the brain, said police Sgt. Bart Brunscheen. The victim was admitted to intensive care.

Police arrested the older man.
