Envision will hold a reception Friday to kick off its "Tactile Vision" art show, an exhibit of works by students in the Envision Arts program who are blind, visually impaired and/or multi-disabled.
The reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at CityArts, 334 N. Mead.
The arts program is part of Envision’s rehabilitation program. It makes art education accessible to people of all ages who are low-vision or blind, including those with additional disabilities. The program features after-school arts programs for children, day art classes for adults and weekend workshops.
Works by the students will be on display at CityArts through Oct. 20. Some works will be available for sale.
