Wichita State offers help on how to save money

The Financial Literacy Project at Wichita State University has developed several ways to help students, parents and others on how to save money going to college, university officials said in a statement.

This includes a free online course that can be found at, the university said.

University officials who developed it say it was financed by a grant through the Kansas Board of Regents; the administrating office is the Office for Faculty Development and Student Success.

The website is designed to help develop plans to pick academic goals cost effectively. It also provides financial management advice on how to attain financial independence.
