Passenger rail service to be topic of discussion at Central Library

Wichitans will have a chance to discuss passenger rail service at a Tuesday Topics program held at the Central Library Auditorium, 223 S. Main, on Aug. 27.

The brown-bag lunch seminar, which begins at noon, will feature Wichita’s Vice Mayor Pete Meitzner and Dale Goter, government relations manager for the city, talking about the impact of passenger rail service on the city.

Drinks will be provided. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

Tuesday Topics is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters Wichita-Metro and the Wichita Public Library.
