Sedgwick County Sheriff’s deputies cited 47 adults for seat-belt violations during a four-hour patrol Tuesday that targeted use of the restraints, the sheriff’s office said Wednesday.
The patrol was conducted between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. One adult was given a ticket for not using proper restraints for a child, the office said.
In addition, five people were arrested for driving on a suspended license and one person on outstanding warrants, the office said.
