Man, 52, loses cell phone, money and two teeth

A 52-year-old man lost two teeth, $100 and his Motorola cell phone after being knocked unconscious at Naftzger Park, 601 E. Douglas, at 3:50 p.m. Monday, police said.

The man was knocked unconscious after being struck in the back of head by an unknown object, police Lt. Doug Nolte said.

When he awakened, he walked to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 402 N. Topeka, before passing out again. He was taken to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in fair condition.
