This might be a new twist on a “cheeseburger to go.”
A husband and wife were arguing early Thursday morning in north Wichita when he decided to add some flavor to it – a cheeseburger, to be exact.
The 26-year-old man threw the cheeseburger at his 23-year-old wife, hitting her in the face, Wichita police Lt. Doug Nolte said. The burger brouhaha unfolded shortly before 3 a.m. on Thursday at a house in the 200 block of East Burnett. That’s near 29th North and Broadway.
The man punched his mother-in-law as well. The mother-in-law did not want to press charges, Nolte said, but the man was booked into Sedgwick County Jail on suspicion of battery because he threw the burger.
