Two men escaped injury Sunday afternoon when someone opened fire on them in the Planeview neighborhood in southeast Wichita, police said.
The men were standing in the front yard of a residence in the 3700 block of East Roseberry, near Pawnee and Hillside, when a man drove up and began shooting at about 3:20 p.m., Lt. Doug Nolte said. At least four shots were fired at the men, ages 30 and 42.
One shot hit a car parked in front of the residence, Nolte said, but neither man was wounded. The shooter drove away before either victim could get a good look at him.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call 911, Nolte said.
