Adults 55 and older can take classes during a three-day Senior University at Newman University June 11-13.
Classes will cover topics such as oil fracking, origami, Egyptology and Zumba. Programs also will be available from the Great Plains Nature Center, Tanganyika Wildlife Park and the Sedgwick County Zoo. The workshop also will include wine tasting and book presentations.
The event will be hosted by Newman’s School of Social Work and the Aging & Wellness Coalition of Sedgwick County.
Registration is open through June 5 and costs $65, with a limited number of group discounts available.
