Southeast Wichita pizza restaurant robbed by quartet

Four young adults robbed a southeast Wichita restaurant Friday afternoon, police said.

The crime occurred at Po Boy Pizza, 5619 E. Lincoln, near Edgemoor, at about 1:40 p.m. on Friday, Sgt. Scott Brunow said. A woman in her late teens produced a black handgun and demanded money from the cash register.

The 73-year-old clerk complied, and a man in his late teens collected the money. All four robbers then left, walking south into the neighborhood before driving off in a dark green 1990s Saturn, Brunow said.

The armed robber is a black woman who is 5-foot-5 and 115 pounds, the clerk told police.

The robber who took the money is a black man who is 5-9 and 165 pounds, the clerk said.

The third robber is a 5-10 black man in his 20s, who weighs 185 pounds.

The fourth robber is a black woman in her 20s, who is 6-0 and 200 pounds.
