An extensive search of the area where railroad workers reported possibly hitting a person with a train turned up nothing, a Sedgwick County dispatcher said Friday morning.
Area law enforcement received the report late Thursday evening in southwest Wichita, according to a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor on Thursday.
The report from the Union Pacific railroad listed the location of the possible hit as near West 55th Street South and Palisade. Law enforcement searched the area but did not find a person or body, the dispatcher said.
