Police still searching for Bank of the West robber

Authorities are still searching for the man who robbed the Bank of the West branch in downtown Wichita on Tuesday morning.

The man walked into the branch at 255 N. Main at about 10:30 a.m. and told a teller “Give me all the money,” a police report states.

After exiting the bank, he left the area on foot. Authorities have released photos taken from surveillance video provided by the bank.

The suspect is a man in his late 30s to his early 50s, Lt. Doug Nolte said. He is between 5-feet-11 and 6-feet-2. He wore a black windbreaker, dark blue jeans and a dark hat. He also had a dark bandanna covering his face.

No weapon was indicated or seen, Nolte said.
