A boy upset with the man who broke up a fight he was in at Murdock Park on Friday tracked him down later in the day and slashed his face with a knife, police say.
The 34-year-old victim, who works for the Urban League, saw the fight in the park and broke it up Friday afternoon, Sgt. Scott Brunow said. Sometime later, an 11-year-old boy who had been in the fight found the victim in the 900 block of North Minnesota and cut him on the face.
The boy was questioned with a parent and then booked into the Juvenile Detention Facility, Brunow said.
