Sedgwick County, Wichita school district, Derby among honored government websites by Sunshine Review

Sedgwick County is one of 214 government agencies recognized by the Sunshine Review for transparency on its website,

The county received a “Sunny Award,” chosen from 6,000 government websites.

The website’s most popular interactive features are property tax and appraisal information, search of inmates in the county jail and the county’s telephone directory, said Kristi Zukovich, communications director.

Other Kansas governments that won awards were the cities of Derby, Kansas City, Lawrence, Overland Park and Topeka; Johnson and Wyandotte counties; and the Wichita school district.
