A man earned a trip to jail Monday morning when he decided a woman driving in front of him in a west Wichita construction project was going too slow and pulled a gun to display his displeasure, police said.
The incident unfolded at about 10 a.m. in the 10000 block of West 21st Street, near Maize Road, Lt. Doug Nolte said. A 36-year-old woman told police she was driving through the construction zone when a man who had been trailing her, pulled up next to her and pointed a gun before driving off.
The woman and her 59-year-old passenger got a license tag number and vehicle description and called 911, Nolte said. An officer spotted the vehicle at 13th and Tyler and pulled it over.
The 29-year-old man was arrested after he was identified by the women in the car.
