Police seeking three men in Golden Corral robbery

Police are still looking for the men who robbed a Golden Corral in west Wichita on Monday morning — one of whom may be a former employee.

Two men in ski masks and black clothing entered the restaurant at about 8:30 a.m. Monday, went to the manager’s office and demanded money from the manager, Lt. Doug Nolte said. They left the building at 616 S. Ridge Road, and one of them robbed a man who was walking near the restaurant.

They took off running in the 6900 block of West Kellogg and got into a dark-colored compact car driven by a third man. A former employee came into the restaurant earlier that morning, Nolte said, and then left minutes before the robbery occurred.

There were three people in the Golden Corral at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information in the case should call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
