Wichita police are looking for two people who left a Best Buy in east Wichita empty-handed after engaging in suspicious behavior Thursday night.
A store manager in the Best Buy at 2100 N. Rock Road saw the pair putting laptops into a black bag at about 7:30 p.m., Lt. Steve Kenney said. When he confronted them, one of the two pointed a can of pepper spray at him but did not use it.
They then left the store, leaving the computers and black bag behind, Kenney said. The suspects were two white males — one in his 40s, the other about 17. The adult was about 5-feet-10, 225 pounds with long brown hair, wearing a polo shirt, blue jeans and a black hat.
The younger man was about 5-feet-10, 140 pounds and had long brown hair. He wore a black T-shirt and blue jeans, the manager told police.
