Another pleasant day is in the forecast for the Wichita area today, though forecasters say it’ll be windier than it was on Wednesday.
Highs should creep into the low 80s, with abundant sunshine and south winds in the teens. Gusts should reach the mid-20s. Tonight will see a few clouds drift in as lows slip to the mid-50s.
Friday is expected to bring more sunshine to the area, forecasters say, with highs again touching 80. Winds will again be out of the south, but back off to the single digits.
A slight chance of showers arrives Friday night and lingers through the weekend, but forecasters say folks shouldn’t cancel any plans outdoors because any rain will be scattered.
