NetApp in Wichita will host a St. Baldrick’s Foundation head-shaving event to raise money and awareness for life-saving childhood cancer research on Friday. With a goal of raising $25,000, nearly 30 NetApp employees have registered to shave their heads.
St. Baldrick’s is a volunteer-driven charity committed to raising money for research to find cures for childhood cancer and give survivors long and healthy lives. The Foundation hosts signature head-shaving events where volunteers collect pledges to shave their heads in solidarity with kids with cancer while raising money.
