Wichita man sentenced six years for downloading child porn

A Wichita man has been sentenced to more than six years in federal prison for possession of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said Wednesday.

Kenneth Cheatum was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison. He pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography.

In his plea, he admitted his computer as having accessed a website to download child pornography, most recently March 2010. When investigators served a search warrant at his home they found 52 videos and 348 photos of child pornography. The images depicted girls from 4 to 12 years of age engaged in sex acts.
