KU School of Medicine-Wichita seeking people to portray patients

The KU School of Medicine-Wichita will have an information session Thursday evening for people interested in applying to be a “standardized patient” for medical students.

People 18 years and older are needed to portray patients who have a particular medical history, body language, physical examination results, emotions and personality. Pay is as much as $15 an hour, and all ages over 18 and all physical types are needed. Participants are not required to have a medical or acting background.

The information session will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the school at 1010 N. Kansas.
