A pleasant day for mid-February is in Wichita’s forecast today, then a chance for afternoon sprinkles and night-time showers arrives.
Highs should reach the mid-50s under skies that will be sunny in the morning and then increasingly cloudy, forecasters say. Winds will be light and out of the south early, then die off later in the afternoon before resuming again out of the north and northeast overnight.
Flurries are possible in central Kansas, forecasters say.
Lows tonight will be in the mid-30s, with winds gusting to nearly 20 miles an hour. Saturday will be mostly cloudy, with highs in the mid-40s and north-northwest winds gusting to more than 20 miles an hour.
Sunday should be sunny and a bit warmer, forecasters say, with highs approaching 50.
