Wichitans can look forward to another day of unseasonably mild temperatures with plenty of sunshine and calm skies, forecasters say.
Afternoon highs will reach the low 50s today, under clear skies, according to the National Weather Service. A breath of wind is expected out of the southwest at 6 to 9 mph. Overnight lows will dip to just below the freezing mark; conditions are expected to remain calm and mostly clear.
Forecasts for Thursday and Friday boast more mild temperatures, with daytime highs reaching around 60 degrees. Sunny, clear skies are in store both days, forecasters say, with overnight lows dipping to the mid-30s. A few, wispy clouds may pop up, but winds are expected to remain calm.
Forecasters expect the above-average temperatures and clear, calm conditions to stretch into next week.
