A man pretending to have trouble at a fuel pump robbed a manager who came to assist him at a Dillons fuel center in northeast Wichita this morning, authorities said.
The man pulled a gun on the manager at about 6:10 a.m. at the Dillons at Woodlawn and 37th North, Lt. Doug Nolte said. He then left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The victim told police the robber was a black man with a small build who was between 5-feet-9 and 6 feet tall. He wore a black neoprene half-face mask, a black knit cap and a light blue hooded sweatshirt.
