WICHITA — City officials will conduct a public meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday on upcoming work that will require closing a portion of North Tyler.
The meeting, which will provide information about the $4.3 million project, will be at Resort Lifestyle Communities, 2300 N. Tyler.
Tyler, between 21st and 29th streets, will be closed to through traffic in early September through mid-November for reconstruction of the street. A temporary traffic signal will be put in place at 21st and Keith to provide access for neighborhoods north of 21st and west of Tyler.
Closing Tyler completely will allow the work to be done quicker, city officials said.
